Ugreen Africa is an official reseller storefront for Ugreen chargers, power banks, cables, and hubs. Rather than building a full payment checkout, we built the storefront around how this customer actually wants to buy: browse the catalogue, then order over WhatsApp.
The problem
Not every storefront needs a payment gateway to sell well. For an official reseller catalogue, the harder problem is trust and discoverability — customers need to know products are genuine, find the specific item they want through search, and reach a real person quickly when they are ready to buy.
A generic e-commerce checkout adds friction this kind of buyer does not want: account creation, a multi-step cart, a payment form. It also does nothing to solve discovery — getting the right product page to rank and getting found in the first place.
What we built
The storefront presents a curated Ugreen catalogue with a content-managed homepage — the team can toggle featured sections without a deployment. Every product and category page carries structured data and clean, canonical URLs, with legacy-slug redirects preserved so old links keep working.
Ordering is WhatsApp-first everywhere: a persistent "Buy via WhatsApp" action on every product opens a pre-filled message with the exact item, so a customer goes from browsing to a real conversation in one tap — no account, no cart to abandon.
The storefront runs on the same product catalogue we built for the team's other retail brands, reusing shared product imagery and data rather than maintaining a separate inventory system just for this one.
